LAY DOMINICANS Central Province USA

Greeting to All! I moved here in 2006 upon my retirement.I am active in my parish in Dickinson ND as a Lector, EM, and Social Outreach volunteer. In addition I teach CCD at another local parsh which is short on CCD teachers. I am also active in several religious associations. Currently I am studying Fr Hardon, SJ's Marian Catechist Program and have completed our diocese's Why Catholic? Program. My aim is to become a diocesan cerified catechist.. My husband and I do the Morning and Evening Divine Office and Lectio under guidance of the local Benedictines.

I was admitted as a Novice at the Priory in Oakland CA by Elllen Logue, TOP, Novice Mistress in the late 1970's or very early 1980's but failed to make my Promise as I allowed an employment requirement to work all weekends commencing about 1982 to interfere. I now seek to pick up again the Dominican charism even I cannot travel to the nearest chapter in Minneapolis MN due to distance and cost.
