                                                                             Pray for me Saint Dominic   

This coming Sunday, August 8th is the Feast Day of our families father, Saint Dominic. It is also the day that I will make my temporary promise to live by the rule of the Dominican Laity for the next three years.

Since I begin my journey towards this day, I have spent the last two years plus, asking our Lord to guide me in doing what HE believes is the best way for me to serve him.

Through the efforts of my dear brothers and sisters in the Blessed Sacrament Chapter, I have found a place where I feel loved, devotion to the Lord, and learned how to live the Dominican live by reading and studying the wonderful lives of Saint Dominic, Saint Catherine of Siena, Saint Thomas Aquinas and so many others.

Praying the Liturgy of the Hours “Daily” and saying the Rosary I have inspired and brought me into a deeper since of the Holy Spirit dwelling within me.

For these reasons and many more, I thank the Triune God, for the formation process thus far and will continue to pray that with HIS blessings and guidance, I will be able to continue this wonderful way of life, as a professed member of the Dominican Laity.
